Forum: texts Subject: Borrowed item, "Page preview temporarily unavailable" "This book has reached its limit of accessible pages. Please try again tomorrow."

Have borrowed/unborrowed, cleared cache, logged out, logged in, etc..

Looks like:

a) BookViewer won't load actual pages after borrowing.

b) Removes loan completely on page reload.

Thought I should point this out, since these Scholarly articles are relatively new. Not sure if its a middle-ware/encryption thing or storage issue, but in any case, the loan/borrow system is not working with this item, which I am really hoping to study.

Looks like it was a browser plugin. Was able to open it properly with Ungoogled Chromium.

After borrowing, could not see any pages at all with Firefox 7.89.0esr on Debian 10. Even with all plugins disabled.

Attached screenshot shows the 404s for the images.

old or boutique browsers and operating systems will always be a potential issue. we cannot qa for every setup.

It's current browser for my free and open operating system. Are you saying Internet Archive doesn't support the current version of Debian?
